Ingame name: Malvar IronHide Level 1 barbarian/ level 1 Fighter Warforged. Usually on evenings/ weekends - Central time zone.
Read a post complimenting this guild and quality of its members. My work schedule is hectic, so I do not get to game that often and would like pleasant, competent players (because lord knows I need the help) when I do play.
I do have several alts, a 2 nd level thief, 1st level sorcere, 1st level ranger and 1 first fighter - whom I plan to change to Paladin after level 4. However I would appreacite input if you more experienced players feel this is necessary.
When playing PnP D20 i always do 4 levels of fighter before paladin to get som feats and weapon specialization, but am not sure that is as necessary in this game - opinoin?

Welcome... this goes to both Dakoth and Malvar. Please place Jupiterfist in your friend's list. Then, when you are in game... just holler at my char... and we will hook you up then for our guild. Another name you can talk to is Grimbal. He is another officer in the game and he is on in the evenings too.
Hope to see both of you soon.
Regards,
Eddy (aka Jupiterfist)

Greetings! This message is for Jupiterfist or Grimbal. Looking into possibly joining your guild if you have room for another. 1. Ingame Name: Lanaw Prettyboy 2: Human Bard 3: L4.1 4. Alts: Parma Worthington Human Cleric L2.0, <Charcote L2.4 Cleric>-<friends group> thursday only. 5. Playing time DDO: m-wed, fri-sun usually on any giving day. Time 8pm-12mid. EST 6. Looking for a guild, somewhat tired of hit and miss PUG play, seems to be 50/50. I would like to play with a more steady group of people who want to use some tactics and strategy. Some! It doesn't have to be snails pace, but not the 100 meters at the olympics either. Green players are ok, bad ones tired of that. So..... Look for my bard ingame will look for either of you two as well. 3.

Hey Lanaw...
Just holler at me in game... place me on your friend's list and we will get you in.
Yep... PUG gets tiring and annoying. Playing with guildees is soooo much better! Everyone in our guild helps each out... and that is basically the only major rule we have. So, if you want to be in our guild... you gotta be a nice person to play with. Sounds kinda corney.... but, more and more I hear about how ppls cannot stand being in a group with rude, etc. people... thus, my case in point.
Hope to see you soon,
Jupiterfist

No problem I shall be in-game around 9pm EST, with the bard. I am pretty sure he is in the rusty nail tavern.

Hey there...
Well when you get in... holler at Jupterfist in game.
The only thing we require is that your style of play should include being nice and respectful to everyone. ;D
Our guild is made up of friendly people. It goes to say that guildees can trust guildees, so if you have no issues with that... then Talonclaw is the guild for you.
On making a character... it is really up to your playing style. If you like to tank (be in the front fighting all the time) -- you will probably want to go with a fighter, Barbarian or Paladin. If you like magic -- sorc or wiz. If you like alittle of both -- Ranger. If you like to disarm traps, open chest and be a valuable asset to a party... then Rogue is your way. Lastly... cleric is the main healer... but a bard can do healing too as well as buffs.
Prepare to spend some time putting your char together... choose stats, feats, and skills wisely. Do alittle research as to what you want to do rather than just going with random numbers. You will find that alittle planning up front will pay off later in the game when your character can do the things he only gets at higher lvls... choosing the wrong stuff could prevent this.
Check out forums on DDO... for clues as to what to do.
Regards,
Jupiterfist
