Greetings everyone I am Lanaw L4 Bard who joined the guild lastnight. I ran STK with a few of you. I live in Columbus, Ohio I have survived on bread for 41 years now. I work at the "center of the universe" Ohio State U., or so they all think. I am married, no kids, 4 cats who work the kids angle most excellently though.
Anyrate, I started with D&D in 1980. Moved on to 1st, then 2nd edition. I stopped playing in 1994 totally. Online gaming started with Terris a MUD in late 95- spring 98. NeverQuest from 2001-2004-Bard/Shaman. And then on to WoW from 04-Feb this year-Rogue/shaman. Now in DDO only since headstart. I lost about 10 days due to getting a new machine end march/early april.
I look forward to playing with more of you, and I had fun lastnight as well. I am not the best player you will ever meet. However, I can play. And thanks for the invitation, much apprecatied.

I am based in central time zone 31 years old with a family. Most of my available time will be late evenings after the kiddos are bedded down. My brother Sabatuer had nothing but good things to say about the guild and members so I joined.....All he said was true.
Currently I have Level 5.2 Paldin..Pen Level 4.0 Hafling Ranger...Kwarlin (thinking of multiclassing with a rogue)
Currently taking recommendations on a beginning skill build for a cleric.
Look forward to finding great treasures and slaying creatures with you all. ;D

Welcome Pen,
Beginning build for a cleric. Well, as a level 10 cleric I know something about it. Like any builds you need to have some objectives in mind. Do you want to be a healer/buffer/DV full support cleric, offence spells cleric, or a battle cleric?
I chose full support because I perfer the other folks in the party to do their job and I will do mine. But the cleric class is very versatil.
If you want to go full support, Dex 12, Wis 16 Cha 16 Offence cleric Dex 12 Wis 18 or even higher if want to make that sacrifice Battle Cleric Str 14 Con 14
Important feats for a cleric,
Mental Toughness - more mana Extend Spell - longer buff time Improved Mental Toughness - even more mana Empowered Healing - doubles your healing power
If u go Human you might want to think about adding some UMD. Other races are good too. Elf good with Longbow and Longsword Halfling great saves Dwarf good battle cleric Warforge good challenge hehe

Greetings and salutations! I joined the guild probably about a month ago after questing with Arcticlynx's alt in WW... I was about a level 2 character then, but now I'm a level 9 paladin I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this game and spent many long nights slaying the virtual evil of Xen'drik. This is my first MMO so I readily admit to being a n00b, but hey, I learn quickly. A little about me: my name (obviously) is Cliff. I'm 24 and working temporarily at a local bar/restaurant as an assistant manager and at Starbucks (laugh if you must) as a shift supervisor. I've been out of the military for a year now and used to be a Marine Corporal, though that seems like a lifetime ago. I'm applying for jobs that are more in tune with the training I received in the military, and will pay accordingly better. Money isn't everything, but I have to support my DDO addiction somehow, right?? This delves into the realm of TMI, but I just broke up with my girlfriend of one year... playing online as often as I do is actually the only thing that keeps her out of mind; otherwise, she's constantly there. Who said video games were completely useless?

Greetings everyone.
My character is Forgon Konkluzan, level 2 Fighter (almost 3 now). Joined recently, and was in a WW quest with Dramorion and sabateur. I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, so that probably means I won't get to see some on you ingame due to the time difference. Don't have any alts yet, though I plan on a human sorceror and elf ranger once I get the hang of this.
I started D&D/AD&D back in 1984 and continued till 1996 (off and on). Did online gaming with Ultima Online 1998-2000, and some Dominion (web-based) in 2002-2003. I just started on DDO this weekend.
Am glad to meet up with you, and hope I can convince my girlfriend, and a couple other friends to start DDO, and maybe interest them in the guild.
IRL, I work in an investment company in the finance division. Big change from my initial job as an engineer.

To continue the thread, here's another member who lives in Ohio. Mansfield to be exact. I'm 35 and have played various computer & PnP RPGs since high school. Besides MUDs, the only other MMORPGs I have played was WoW (~1 year) and Guild Wars. If any guildies need some help, don't be afraid to ask me. DDO characters - Abellius, Ehlonna, Saravin

Hi all
Im Rifkin / Mike, Im an engineer in Southern California Ive been playing DnD for 25 years now and still play allmost every week(tho my DM is haveing a baby right now)
I also gave 6 moths of my life to UO, 1 month to EQ, 2 years to DAoC, and 1.5 years to WoW.
my characters are: Rifkin: 1/2ling Wizard Rifkin was my Rogue/Illusionist in PnP adn my 60 warlock in WoW
Quendel (pronounced Kendl) elf Ranger Quendel was my lvl 16 ranger in PnP
Horfang: Warforge Fighter Horfang was a 1/2orc fighter I played in highschool, 1st ed
Guilt: Dwarf Rogue/Barbarian In every MOG I play, I allways make a rogue named Gilt or Guilt I 1st rolled an elf rogue named Gilt but Dwarves make better Rogues and I wanted to hit someone with an axe/.
Whitch: human Cleric Whitch is a Dwarf priest in WoW but I never played her much so I re rolled her here. I wasn't happy with her build so I rerolled her as a human. I'm still not so sure, her strength is to low atm.
