Heya Rexom,
The advice is to play what you will enjoy the most. All the classes are valuable, and needed. So whatever you chose will be greatly needed.
If you are not familiar with Dungeons and Dragons' pencil and paper rules, I would not suggest multi-classing a character until you know more about it. If you are very new to the DnD rules, then maybe starting with a straight fighter is good to get the general ideas. Fighters are very good, always needed, and a very versatile damage dealing class. Strength and Constitution are your main stats so beef those up. In general, try not to let a single stat go below 8, unless you know what you are doing.
You get another point to add to stats at level 4 and 8, so keep that in mind when building your character.
Please let me know if there are any more questions.

The only thing we ask of our guild members is to be friendly and helpful when playing with each other and with other ppls. This guild was built upon the simple idea of creating a place for friendly gamers to find a nice PUG (without worrying about issues of conduct).

Hmmm... we are fairly laid back. I know that if you are a power-gamer/leveler... you may not be happy with our guild, but then... you will probably get burned out on this game very fast.
Our guild was founded on the simple premise of being friendly. Laid-back and helpful are other ways of describing our members. This does not mean we don't ROCK when we need to against the many foes in DDO... we just work together as a team... at least that is the goal.
If you are kewl with that... then give me a holler in game (Jupiterfist or Quickfire). You can also speak to any of our guild members... and they will contact an officer to get you in.
Regards.

1) Forgon Konkluzan 2) Human/Fighter 3) Level 1 4) Alternates... none yet 5) Usually weekends (longer) & weekday nights (short). Timing depends on timezone I guess, my timezone is GMT+8 or about US EST+13hrs 6) Prefer to team up with a friendly easy going group who enjoys the game and the company we team up with.
This is my first MMORPG since Ultima Online 6 years ago. Used to be in a friendly guild there, and hoping to find good/loyal teammates here.

Travel no more wondering Traveler....
I have been in this guild going on two months and it is awesome. When you run quests / groups with TalonClaw (TC) members team work is the first criteria, not to mention the hand me down weapons.
I would say the majority of our members are of the older generation so the maturity lvl is a plus. We definitely play together and have loads of fun.
Look me up when you are playing
Sabatuer or Greaseum

Definitely... if you have not already... hit up any of the officers... like Jupiterfist, Arathorne, Sabauter, Aramus, Duagrim, Nonrev, Ravenclaw, Malvar, just to name a few... these people or myself can easily add you into our family.
Take care and hope to see you in the future.

Yeah forums has list of several guilds for each server. However, this guild and some specific characters in the guild have been named in a thread called "Players you do not want to avoid."
