Hey guys, Im tired of PUGs and scrounging to find a cleric, rogue etc.
I tried to start a group like this on the DDO forum but it fell apart. Lanaw knows what Im talking about. I figured I should try the guild this time to see if there is enough interest.
The idea is close to the PnP style. We all create a character to have a well balanced group that plays once a week at a certain time.
We would only play those characters at the time so we can all stay on the same page in terms of quests and lvl.
The time will be determined later if I can get enough people interested.
Krago - (Cleric) Leagrim SmokyJoe - (Rogue) Duagrim - (Fighter) Duandrin
Zyon - (Ranger) Rolki Lanaw - (Fighter/Paladin) Neril

I like this idea and you can count me in if its a time when I can play.
I can normally play most days at 8pm pacific.
I would love to play with a group that will do all the stupid side quests and quests that have bad xp and bad loot. Tangelroot and Stormcleave are nice but there are many quests in this game that I would like to see at least once.
p.s. can we take an oath to do the quests that most people would never do.

I was hoping that was the idea. Its not to speed to lvl 10 but enjoy the group and the adventure.
- Try and find secret doors that may have been missed with our other chars. - Have every class that we need like rogue, cleric etc and not have to make do with the 6 people we can find to run a dungeon. - Try a new class we havent played before or a new multi class character. - Know that everyone else is on the same quest as you and not have to schedule runs when we get to the more indepth quests and such.
Hope this idea can keep generating interest.

I like this idea. Didja want to start from the beginning with level 1's? I am willing to start a new alt if so. Let me know what class you want.

I like this idea, too. I'd like to try do do all of the quests at each level before trying the next level, just to see what each different quest is like. In cases where there are multiple quests in sequence (WW or STK, for example) do those in sequence, but not just run off and try to level up without seeing all that Turbine has put out there for us to do.

I would like to start from the beginning with lvl 1s. I would also like to do what Nonrev suggested is to do quests near our lvl and in a sequence.
Glad to see this is generating interest.
I was thinking we would try to do this during the week. What times is everyone available?
I am M-F 8-12pm CST.

Hmmm... that is interesting. Jupiters will be out til June 26 or 27th so... have to look at doing it then for another group.
I know JupiterIce and JupiterFist have created new chars... lvl 3 that are Human Sorc and WF Fighter. I am liking Sorc... but I may even do another re-roll after discovering some things.

Would love to join in the group but like smokyjoe, it's the World Cup from now till 9th July that is taking up my free time since the first game of the day is at 9pm my time, which would have been prime DDO time for me. In any case, my usual playing time is around 12 hours out of sync with most of you. If any of you are playing in the evenings for east Asia/Australian time zones, you can count me in on the weeknights.

Well, since there seems to be enough interest, lemme know what times everyone is available and I will put the info in the first post for quick reference.
Also put what characters and race you wish to create and we will go from there.

I am online mon-thurs 7-9:30 PM Pacific time, and at odd intervals on weekends. I would like to run Duorkin, a dwarf wizard, but I am willing to consider something else if needed for balance. Lots of people seem to like casters and rangers, very few tanks around anymore. I have already started Duorkin, but would cheerfully start a tank if the group needs one.

If you have a spot I shall play as well. I would really LOVE to try a duel-wield fighter. Or a fighter-paladin tank.
The DPS duel-wield is high on my list. However I have never bothered due to pug groups needing a tank first. Plus our guild is loaded with fighters to boot. So if you have a spot, I would like to be in there with that dps fighter in the 5-6 spot.

What stage should we all get to? This way we can start from the same point. I created a new Wizzy named Krylin. He just entered Stormreach I have not done any of the 3 quests yet. Should I hold here or go on to Harbor? kwerlin
