I would consider myself a loyal person, and I have believed in "semper fidelis" (always faithful) long before I became a Marine. Talonclaw was my first guild and I will remember most of you quite fondly. That's just the problem though - I hardly partied with many of you and never really got to know anyone. Now, there are so few TC'ers online at any given time that I've reluctantly decided to move on. The final nail in the coffin, I believe, was when I became most disheartened that our stalwart and unwavering leader was, frankly, neither of those things anymore. talonclaw.proboards51.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1164977485&page=1Farewell, Talonclaw. Thank you for including me in your DDO family. Respectfully, Cliffopold

While we're on the subject, I have reluctantly pulled Thingol and Duendrin from the guild and moved them into other guilds. I will leave Duagrim in TC mainly because I cannot bear to pull him out. I really have a lot of fond feelings for TC and its members, but after 8 straight days without the ability to get a TC group, I have decided that Thingol will accept a longstanding offer to join Pride's gate, with whom he has often adventured in the past- truth be told, he's been with that guild more than TC in the past month, a lot more.
I have been very reluctant to do this. I am not happy about it; in fact, I regret the necessity very much. I want the steady reliability of guild groups, though, and unfortunately TC has just not been able to give me that on a consisten basis for a few months now. I will continue to play Duagrim as a proud TC member, and if you see one of my alts I will be happy to join any of you with Duagrim or any of the others.
If TC no longer feels comfortable with me as a semi-member, I understand. I will likely delete Duagrim and restart him in that event; to continue the big guy outside TC just wouldn't seem right to me.

To Cliff and Duagrim, I really hope down in my heart that you two didnt leave the guild becuase I hadnt been on for a long time. I enjoyed the many times we grouped and adventured. As posted in Jupiters message thread, I was really burnt out and needed to get away from DDO for few. I lost the interest and desire to play DDO, the content then, the spam from gold buyers/sellers, repeating quest over and over so many times, and crafting as well. As much as I tried to keep the game alive for me, i felt something was missing. Am at the moment this week and couple more weeks maybe, am relogging back onto Guildwars. Its a free game, no monthly fee what so ever, same as Rome Victor (it sucks thou). In the mean time am trying to catch up and find info on Vanguard. Regardless of who made it or is behind it, am going to still play, or at least try to play it (may have to upgrade/buy a new game system again). But it will be something different, something new and fresh. Again, Duagrim and Cliff, I am sorry that the guild is no longer what it use to be. As I said, I got burnt out and needed a break or so. My account is still open and am thinking of dropping in now and then to say hi and all. Happy New Year to you and to your family.

I don't think it was anyone's fault... mainly, it just happens after you play a long time.
I have been busy with real life alot... but I have dropped in on DDO a few times. My family and I have been playing Guild Wars Nightfall from time to time... and we already have maxed out characters... but the story and quests are about still very plentiful. We are continuing on in that realm and we did start a guild there called Talonclaw Warriors (TW). We have a guild island and such... it is fun and a nice change (being free to play after the initial purchase).
We are checking in on DDO from time to time... but are probably really waiting on Conan... that MMORPG looks to be awesome!
The Talonclaw guild is still alive in DDO as long as their our members... however, I know this may not last. If we do cancel our account... I will make sure I pass on the duties to someone that is still active... if there is someone left. At this time... looks to be just a few players.
My son (Luthien) still loves DDO and does not want to give it up... so there is still a strong possibility we will come back in force... but for the time... we are taking a leave of the game. I will be checking this forum from time to time... so feel free to leave messages and such.
Best of luck to those that were and are still in TC. Take care and we hope to see you soon (if not in DDO, in some other game). We will always use the name Jupiter or Eledhwen. ;-)
