Well... tried this with ppls that were between 8-10. We got smoked halfway in...
There is not much to say other than the fact that everything has alot of hitpoints and everything HITS EXTREMELY HARD.
I will try this again... soon. I think the makeup has to be high lvl to make this work... 2 clerics with one being at least lvl 9 the other min Lvl 7. Tanks have to be lvl 9 or 10 for sure. Wizard/Sorc has to be lvl 9/10.
When our grouped switched to HARD... we smoked through it easily.

i made it through with 1 cleric.5 lvl 9s and 1 lvl 8. no problems. the party was 1 fighter 1 barb 1 sorc 1 wiz 1 cleric 1 rouge. the trick is to make sure your cleric last. remember the shrine below in the ravine as well.. fire resist is good as well.. let all the casters use up all the mana before resting.. webs are a must for the giants and groups. Remember barb and fighters CAN TRIP GIANTS! even the named. the tanks should always trip.. especially the minotaur beserkers and shamans. You have to be alert for the minotaur charging. they can normally be sidestep or just out run.
when fighting the undead section of the quest remember to save the turns for the arcanes. the giant don't attack till the last wave of the undead is up, soo take your time up. the next wave comes when someone reaches a certain point on the hill.
i think i made a reply about how to manage aggro. Can't remember where though. Tanks do the first hit. everyone else bombard from else where.
