If you are reading this... you know the first order of business of any new guild is to establish membership and a location.
I welcome comments.

Well... this guild is being put on hold until we level up alittle. At this moment we are at lvl 14... close to 15. Restrictions on guilds are simply that you have a full party. I have purchased all the ingame aspects necessary to start the guild... this will occur shortly.
Ingame mail works. If anyone is interesting in playing this game... feel free to come on to the following server:
"Thunderaxe"
Our characters are Jupiterwolf & Jupiternova. We have multiple other alts... but we are on these the most. We acquired alot of items at present... so we may be able to help you out... if not just in information, etc.

Is this Vanguard any good, is it worth getting it? Please let me know your views. How does it compare to other online multiplayer games?
Thayn. (Colin)

Definitely! Caveates are: 1) You have a excellent video card (I recently when from 128MB to nVida 6600 Overclocked 512MB card) 2) Your CPU is between 2-3GHz. 3) 1-2 GB of memory 4) 20 GB of disk space 5) alot of time you are willing to burn getting addicted Summary: It is a cross between EQ and SWG taking aspects of both. It has incorporated some of the WoW stuff too. There are some graphical clitches and other minor bugs... but over all... it is very enjoyable. They have already patched several times and improved alot of stuff. Email is working fine in the game... but it is much like DDO... you have to go to a location to send and receive email, but you do get remote notifications... which is nice. Lots of storage with banks on 3 different continents (they are not linked... but in a way... that is good thus 3x the storage). Storage on your character is good too with backpacks and bags not to mention saddlebags for your mount (at lvl 10). The quests are abundant... and require you to explore to find them. Towns vary in sizes which is nice. My wife and I have played roughly 3-4hrs a night... since it came out Jan 31st... and we have enjoyed the heck out of it. Both of us are lvl 16 and we actively grind to advance in level too... so this game takes a bit to get up there. Lvl 50 is the cap at the moment. The cool part is you see where you will go next... in multiple areas. There are interactions with large flying creatures, etc. We stumbled onto some griffins last night... and boy they were scarey at lvl 29-40. They were ransacking some NPC villages which we were ah... taking out too... they ended up taking out everyone including a few players. ;-) How much solo stuff is there? Alot. Do you need groups too... sure... for the stuff labeled groups. Can you have raiding parties? Yep... but not that high yet... so have not seen any. You can just hunt, mine (metal, ore, crystals), craft (lots of different crafting professions, skin, or just explore... the game is huge. We want to start a guild... but at the moment we have been playing with usually one person is another guild...which prevents us from making one. The limitation at the moment is that to make a guild... you have to have a full group... then make it and everyone that is in the group becomes officers. The party leader is the guild leader. Some people have been getting people to just join and then kicking them out later... to have their private guild tag... But we have not become that desperate yet. The community seems fairly friendly... still pretty young. This game is NOT instance based. Hope that gives you a little taste.

Thayn... good to see you on. Let me know if we can help. I now have four systems in the game... with my two oldest now playing. We had to upgrade their video cards... but they are running it with the following:
3GHz Pentium 1GB Memory 256MB nVidia 7600 video card
The dual-core AMD 2.4GHz system (64bit) is running fine... this is what my wife and I are running.
